Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and grow sales activity across the Midwest territory, with a strong focus on amino acid feed additives for poultry and swine nutrition.
  • Identify new sales opportunities within feed manufacturing, livestock integrators, and related agribusinesses.
  • Manage all phases of the sales cycle including quotations, negotiations, contracts, and delivery coordination.
  • Collaborate closely with global operations to ensure on-time delivery and fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Gather market intelligence to inform go-to-market strategies and competitive positioning.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships, offering technical guidance and ongoing post-sale support.
  • Track account performance, manage receivables, and deliver regular sales reporting to regional leadership.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in the feed additives, amino acids, or broader animal nutrition industry.
  • Established relationships within the poultry or swine feed markets, ideally across Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, or other central U.S. states.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive new business development and manage high-value customer accounts.
  • Familiarity with international trade operations, logistics, and supply chain workflows related to agricultural commodities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working in a cross-cultural environment with remote, international teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agribusiness, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Experience:
  • Background in supply chain or logistics within the animal feed or ingredient sector.
  • Technical expertise in feed formulation or amino acid applications a strong plus.
  • Fluency in CRM systems, reporting tools, and territory planning software.
