Jewelry Sales Associate

We’re seeking a motivatedjewelry salesperson and client services profession alto join our small, nimble team on Jewelers Row in downtown Chicago. This role is ideal for someone with great energy, curiosity, and a people-first mindset.

You don’t need deep jewelry experience to start, but youdoneed to be eager to learn and genuinely excited about delivering exceptional products and thoughtful, high-touch experiences for every client.

A natural interest in design and jewelry manufacturing will serve you well here, and any background in art, design, jewelry, or gemstones is a strong plus.

You will be serving clients during the biggest moments of their lives! You’ll work with them on jewelry and custom design including:

• Diamond and gemstone engagement rings
• Men’s and women’s wedding bands
• Diamond and gemstone bands and other jewelry
• Custom projects such as gemstone pendants, ring resets, and heirloom redesigns.

Other general responsibilities will include:

• Responding to phone and email inquiries
• Helping walk-in clients
• Tag-teaming with senior salespeople on major sales
• Supporting the whole team by assisting clients as needed
• Helping to maintain a clean, fun, productive showroom floor
• Regular clienteling: following up with clients, keeping in touch and staying organized enough to know when to reach out and congratulate them on new weddings, engagements, new babies, etc.!

REQUIREMENTS

You must:

• Have experience in sales and customer service
• Have great communication skills, including email and phone
• Be friendly, professional and have a positive attitude
• Be a team player and willing to pitch in as needed
• Be organized
• Be a sponge: you will need to learn diamonds, gemstones, jewelry, manufacturing and more in order to be truly successful
