As a Key Account Manager you will strengthen and expand relationships with our most strategic customers across North America in the food‑FMCG market. You will partner closely with marketing, R&D and sales teams to develop innovation strategies, guide renewal processes, maximize business growth through tailored solutions, and increase customer satisfaction. Your clients are located throughout North America, giving you the opportunity to visit them.
Job Requirements- Your responsibilities:
- Key Account Management – build and maintain long‑term relationships at the C‑level.
- Consultative Selling – act as a trusted advisor, helping customers find solutions aligned with their business needs.
- Strategic & Commercial Growth – identify opportunities, close deals and expand relationships through up‑selling and cross‑selling.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management – communicate effectively at all levels within client organizations.
- Market & Competitive Analysis – track market developments to keep our strategy and value propositions relevant.
- Your qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience, preferably as key account manager, customer success manager, or a comparable B2B role.
- Bachelor’s degree (HBO level or equivalent).
- Experience with consultative selling, up‑selling and cross‑selling.
- Proven experience managing large key accounts and engaging at C‑level.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written); knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
- Results‑oriented, proactive, with a strategic mindset and strong negotiation skills.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus.
- Highly structured, process‑driven, able to build frameworks and bring clarity to complex commercial workflows.
- Strong team coordinator, collaborating effectively with internal partners to ensure seamless delivery for clients.
