SUMMARY

At CCI, the partner channel is the engine that drives our reach in telecom solutions. We are seeking a qualified Channel Sales Director to develop and implement partner growth strategies utilizing an extended sales force outside of the CCI organization. The ideal candidate will position CCI as our Channel Partners’ “Go to” telecom services partner. This is a true partnership model supported by delivery, R&D, and marketing teams to facilitate initial leads and support ongoing opportunities.

This role requires someone who “thinks outside the box” and possesses entrepreneurial qualities which allows them to face challenges with ease.

CCI leverages the best technologies and crafts custom solutions for our Agent Partner's clients. We provide our Agent Partners and their clients with the most robust possible broadband, voice, and cloud solutions. This person will become an expert on network connectivity, Hosted PBX (UCaaS), and cloud service offerings while assisting our Partners with reseller recruitment and selling CCI services. We are seeking a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and someone with a proven track record of success who can inspire the same in others.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Generation and Qualification
  • Create and maintain relationships with Channel Partner organizations (TSD's/TSB's & Trusted Agent Partners) at all levels to grow relationships.
  • Must have a high level understanding of the Telecom Agent Partners community and working with the TSD's/TSB's and their Agent Partners (Sub-Agents) or Trusted Advisors.
  • Engage CCI and Partner subject matter experts, executives, and sales engineering as appropriate.
  • Define needs and engagement criteria for resource support including capability demonstrations, call/meeting support, and proposal support.
  • Effectively manage acceptable and appropriate cost of sales and relationship management investments.
Account Management
  • Call on existing and prospective agent partners or trusted advisors for the purpose of developing new business; be fast and responsive, turning quotes around quickly, available to support agents at the highest level.
  • "Own" the closing process and task management from Partners, engaging Company resources as necessary.
  • Participate (lead and/or assist) in the team effort to respond to requests for proposals, qualifications, and other information required in pursuit of new or existing business.
  • Maintain exceptional partner relations, providing training, support, information, and guidance.
  • Form and propose solutions to clients’ needs through partners with a focal point on CCI’s strategic goal of increasing profitable revenue.
  • Train and educate partners on new products offerings, spiffs, special promotions and how to sell CCI.
  • Consistent and regular communication with partners to conduct client reviews; conduct monthly client account reviews to size and implement Client retention planning and approach with Partners.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas set in place.
  • Contribute to team efforts while collaborating with all CCI team members to support winning the engagement.
  • Help differentiate our products and services to increase our chances of winning.
  • Build consensus on unique marketing strategies and work with team on various efforts (e.g., content creation).
  • Analyze reseller, partner, and agent capacities to ensure top performance and ROI.
