Objective of the Role
The Medical Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and business development efforts across the Northern Midwest region, with a home base in or around the New York City area. This is a high-impact, commission-based role offering the opportunity to contribute to the company's US growth strategy. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing new business, managing customer relationships, and executing sales initiatives that align with the company's global vision.
Ideal Profile
- A self-motivated sales professional with a track record of success in medical device or healthcare-related sales (medical specialty not required).
- Entrepreneurial, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in a growing organization.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships.
- Located in or around NYC, and willing to travel within the Northern Midwest region.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and quoting to order fulfillment and post-sale support.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key customers, healthcare professionals, and distributors.
- Provide product education, training, and demonstrations to clinical staff.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to represent the company and build brand awareness.
- Create and implement strategic sales plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and territory planning.
- Deliver regular reports and insights on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback to the leadership team.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proven success in sales, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Prior experience in Gastro Proctology is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the Northern Midwest region.
