Outside Sales Representative

Empire Today is seeking an energetic, driven outside sales representative to meet face‑to‑face with customers in the Chicago, IL area and help find the best flooring products for their needs.

• Generate new customer accounts through pre‑qualified leads, referrals, and prospecting.
• Conduct in‑home flooring estimates and present product solutions to customers.
• Maintain a strong pipeline and achieve a minimum of 2 self‑generated installed sales per month for higher commissions.
• Attend sales training sessions both in person and virtually and provide excellent customer service.
• Use electronic tablets and measuring devices during sales presentations.
• Present professionally in Empire‑branded apparel.

• Valid driver’s license and a vehicle with space for flooring sample boards.
• Availability for evening and weekend appointments.
• Attend all sales meetings and training sessions, in both in‑person and virtual formats.
• Ability to use electronic tablets and measuring devices during presentations.
• Present professionally, including in Empire‑branded apparel.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and follow‑up.
• Direct sales experience and the ability to drive locally to meet customers in their homes.

• Valid local driver’s license and suitable vehicle for flooring sample boards.
• Consistent achievement of self‑generated sales – at least 2 per month.
• Reliable availability for evenings and weekends.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills using electronic tools.
• Professional appearance in Empire‑branded apparel.
