In This Position As a Sales Account Executive, you will play a vital role in our success. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining long-lasting relationships with reliable carriers, securing capacity, negotiating rates, and tracking freight to provide the best service to customers. We offer a comprehensive training program, including traditional classroom training and hands-on mentorship, to ensure you are set up for success.

You will focus on the fast-paced brokerage aspect of our business, using our in-house CRM and proprietary software to identify logistics solutions that move inventory cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the intermediary between shippers and transportation companies, ensuring seamless material delivery from A to B
  • Seek new transportation partners and shippers to increase capacity
  • Continuously build and expand their book of business by adding new leads
  • Develop, maintain, and manage carrier relationships through strong communication and exceptional customer service
  • Competitively negotiate rates with carriers based on market trends
  • Drive new account growth via prospecting, sourcing, and account development
  • Collaborate with carrier partners and shippers to seek new solutions and opportunities
  • Improve the quality of our transportation partners and shipper base
Requirements
  • Motivation to earn a substantial income through a commission-driven compensation plan
  • Experience in 3PL transportation industry preferred but not required
  • Ability to solve complex problems under pressure in a time-sensitive industry
  • Analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication
  • Competitive and intrinsically motivated mindset
  • Motivated by money and driven by numbers
  • Personable, persistent, and assertive on calls
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills

Annual Salary: $45,000 plus Uncapped Commission
