Continuum is looking for a Business Development Representative to help unlock growth for both the company and you as an individual. This role is an early stage opportunity for a hungry individual to lay roots and grow inside a fast-paced organization. The Business Development Representative will act as the liaison between our prospects and new business sales teams. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers via phone, email and social posts.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing relationships and a comfort level communicating to net new contacts. But to be clear, experience is not required. We believe that DNA, tenacity, and willingness to learn matter more than experience itself. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers to educate them on the problems that Continuum solves.
You will also ensure proper after-sales service. If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you.
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Present our company to potential clients
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and company representatives
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative or similar role
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Hub Spot, Salesforce, etc.)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
