StrategyDevelopment
- Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Quantify and analyze market sizing and trends to identify total potential demand (TAM, SAM, SOM).
- Use data to inform go‑to‑market strategies and capture new opportunities.
- Drive revenue growth by exceeding sales targets and expanding market share.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics; make data‑driven decisions to optimize results.
- Direct forecasting activities and establish a strong future pipeline.
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.
- Leverage insights to update strategies, inform product development, and guide team priorities.
- Develop and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring accurate forecasting and resource allocation.
- Monitor performance against budget and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Build and maintain executive‑level relationships with key customers.
- Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Network and nurture strategic relationships to generate leads and establish mutually beneficial opportunities.
- Direct key account management strategies and oversee contracts, negotiations, and executive outreach.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a geographically dispersed sales team.
- Manage recruitment, performance reviews, succession planning, and foster a positive, inclusive culture.
- Oversee sales processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure efficiency.
- Approve quotations, discounts, and special offers within delegated authority.
- Provide insights to optimize the sales cycle and manage capacity needs for major opportunities.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- 7+ years in sales leadership and strategic account management.
- 10+ years in sales, key account management, or business development.
- Proven success in leading regional sales strategies and motivating dispersed teams.
- Expert knowledge of electrical power systems and industry experience.
- Advanced business and financial acumen; strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proven ability to negotiate and close complex, high‑value deals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with senior executives.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to foster collaboration and drive results.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite.
