Your role: You will be part of Accenture Cloud First, a team that offers growth opportunities and a broad set of cloud capabilities, including data, edge, infrastructure and applications, with deep industry expertise to shape, move, build and operate our clients’ cloud-enabled businesses.
The WorkSales professionals drive the sales process and outcomes on a dedicated basis, growing a profitable pipeline and backlog of sales through deal origination, negotiations and closure. The Sales Capture Senior Manager manages the opportunity from origination to close using deep sales process and offering expertise. You will originate new Oracle Cloud Infrastructure opportunities, typically cross-service-group, and develop and execute the origination strategy to identify and qualify opportunities.
You will collaborate with account teams to ensure closure, potentially focusing on a single large account, leveraging deep content knowledge and client relationships. You know all phases of the sales cycle, including qualification, pursuit and close, applying deep sales process and technical expertise. You will build relationships with Oracle leadership, buyers and decision-makers at new and existing clients through a differentiated roadmap and framework leveraging the latest cloud technologies.
Responsibilities include creating solutions to complex technology business problems that require in-depth knowledge of client needs and Oracle technology; focusing on Oracle cloud migration and modernization solutions to help customers move to the cloud, including lift and shift or migrate and modernize strategies; selling Oracle cloud migration, data center exit, application modernization, infrastructure modernization, mainframe modernization, cloud architecture modernization, and enterprise modernization;
operating within large teams and directing specific team sales activities; travel ranging from 25% to 50% depending on business needs; engaging with senior management to determine pursuit strategies and client messaging.
Minimum of 8 years implementing, selling or closing deals in professional services, focused on Datacenter solutions and/or migration to Oracle Cloud stack.
Sales experience in industries such as Financial Services, Communications/Media/Technology, Products (Consumer, Retail, Life Sciences), Resources (Utilities, Oil & Gas, Energy) preferred, as you may be deployed to one of these Industry Groups.
Minimum of 5 years Sales Origination & Sales Pursuit Management experience.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience exceeding sales quota, preferably greater than $20M TCV.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).
