Acumed LLC - Sales Representative

OverviewAs part of the global industrial organization Marmon Holdings, backed by Berkshire Hathaway, the Sales Representative (SR) will exceed sales quota within an assigned territory by delivering Acumed products on time and providing high‑quality technical assistance in the operating room. The SR will assess the customer base to identify new business opportunities and develop a targeted sales strategy for each identified opportunity, ensuring leads are followed up promptly.
Responsibilities- Execute business plans to identify and close new business.
- Identify the needs of new prospects and deliver appropriate responses (written, telephone, and face‑to‑face).
- Perform field sales calls for assigned accounts and territory, including on‑call and operating room consultation.
- Provide post‑sale follow‑up, managing delivery dates, in‑service training, and product replenishment.
- Communicate product updates, portfolio changes, and educational programs to current and new accounts.
- Cross‑sell additional products and introduce new products to current and new accounts.
- Drive customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain customer records in the company’s CRM tool.
- Adhere to the Adva Med Code of Conduct and corporate policies, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Coach, train, or mentor Associate Sales Representatives as needed.
- Maintain current training in sales skills and product knowledge.
- Stay current on medical device industry trends, Acumed customers, and competitive dynamics.
- Participate in and attend trade shows, sales meetings, promotional activities, and professional association meetings as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (business or medical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience.
- 1‑3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
- 9‑12 months of Acumed Sales Rep experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with physicians and surgical personnel.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals.
- Knowledge of sales promotion strategies, product demonstration, and sales control systems.
- Comfortable in emergency/operating room environments.
- Ability to obtain necessary credentialing for hospital access.
- Reliable transportation.
The responsibilities of this position include frequent surgery visits/observations. The incumbent will be required to obtain hospital‑required credentials.
Target CompensationThis is a commission‑only role. Target earnings typically range from $ to $ annually, depending on performance and sales volume.
