Overview

The IA (Industrial Applications) Business Development Manager will be responsible for growing ADATA’s revenue in the Midwest, focusing on business development activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent business development and presentation skills, and the ability to continuously assess business opportunities. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of managing complex sales situations through System Integrators, Direct customers, and Distributors and have had substantial success in developing new markets and establishing a comprehensive direct channel.

This individual will be required to thoroughly understand Industrial /Embedded/ Enterprise Application and its unique Market.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities for industrial-grade applications in Flash and DRAM.
  • Ability to qualify, develop, and manage a robust pipeline to exceed quarterly and annual goals
  • Establish quality relationships at strategic accounts and be abreast of developments and new opportunities within those accounts.
  • Understand ADATA product portfolio and how to promote with respect to each customer’s individual & unique requirements.
  • Perform price/delivery negotiations.
  • Provide input on market conditions/requirements and customer technical needs/ requirements to the factory.
  • Existing relationships at target top-tier accounts with SSD/Memory module content.
  • Increase ADATA’s revenue through active management
  • Possess a rolodex of current contacts at SI, OEM companies, Distributors and Manufactures
  • Must have strong ethics, integrity, and the passion to succeed in a challenging but rewarding environment
  • Strong initiative and superior ability to think creatively, coupled with excellent presentation, written, and overall communication skills
Required

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering/Business/Marketing or equivalent highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in IT hardware under Industrial applications is preferred.
  • Experience in selling SSD/Memory modules is a plus but not required.
  • Skills to apply common sense understanding and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
