NSK Group-ROTA manufactures steering, suspension, hydraulic, and forged parts under the ROTA brand. The company operates two manufacturing facilities in Karacabey, Bursa, a sales and marketing office in Istanbul, and distribution warehouses in São Paulo (Brazil) and Chicago (USA).
Following our success in more than 100 countries, we have established a strong presence in the U.S. market. As part of our continued growth, our USA and Canada warehouse sales operations are expanding rapidly.
To support this growth, we are seeking a Regional Sales Manager who will play a key role in planning and executing sales activities, managing existing customer relationships, and developing new business opportunities. This role requires a balance of field-based customer visits and office- or warehouse-based work.
Responsibilities- Act as the main sales and marketing contact for the IAM warehouse sales channel.
- Visit existing and potential customers daily in Illinois and neighboring states.
- Travel to other states every two weeks for approximately two days.
- Ensure customer satisfaction while meeting all expectations and increasing market share each year.
- Take full responsibility for maximizing sales across all existing direct and indirect accounts within the assigned region, as well as generating and developing new leads.
- Manage dealers and independent accounts to achieve ROTA product preference over competitive products.
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to all accounts, coordinating with divisional engineering and sales support teams as needed.
- Contribute to the new product development process by researching products in the market.
- Keep ROTA management informed of all significant opportunities and market developments.
- Resolve commercial issues, including warranty claims, pricing discrepancies, and credit-related matters.
- Attend industry trade shows, open houses, and similar events as directed by ROTA management.
- Based in, or willing to relocate to, the Chicago area.
- Two or more years of experience in the commercial vehicle industry with a recognized manufacturer, distributor, or large repair facility.
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle IAM distribution channels.
- Three or more years of experience or a related background in sales management.
- Well‑developed presentation and communication skills.
- Self‑directed, with excellent organizational, multitasking, and planning skills.
- Ability to travel overnight 10–20% of the time.
- Ability to work both in the field and in an office or warehouse environment.
