- Engage and strategize with senior-level executives at client companies or agencies to demonstrate how Linked In can drive revenue to their business
- Develop and cultivate deep relationships with senior executive clients at SVP, VP and CMO levels
- Be consultative and identify net new buying groups to grow client investment
- Partner with cross-functional teams across Insights, Marketing, Measurement, Sponsor ships, and Agency to collaborate on campaign strategy, activation, and drive toward client goals
- Proactively investigate industry-specific information and trends, providing research and narratives to align with customer needs
- Conceive and pitch creative marketing solutions to advertising agencies and direct clients
- Command, report and forecast sales activity - from prospecting target accounts and contacts, moving opportunities through the sales cycle, to closing deals and renewal, including robust pipeline and accountability and gap planning.
- Update and create sales proposals and manage advertising agencies and marketers
- Generate revenue and hit target quota, with accountability around forecasting and gap planning

- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of experience in advertising, marketing,mediaand/or business development
- 3+ years of media sales or digital media account management experience
- Experience in B2B
- Ability to develop authentic, senior-level relationships
- Experience preparing sales proposals,forecasts and account planning
- Ability todemonstratean understanding of advertising technology and marketing automation
- Ability to achieve results by understanding the needs of the customer and connecting a customer’s pressures with business and product solutions

We are looking for a Lead Account Executive to join our Marketing Solutions team to continue expanding Linked In’s reputation as the top media channel to market to the world’s professionals. As a Lead Account Executive, you will take a collaborative approach to developing and delivering sales and marketing strategies, prioritizing growing business from new buying groups while your pod partner, the Client Solutions Manager, focuses on growing existing buying groups.
