The Technical Distribution Sales Manager acts as a vital intermediary between the company and its distribution partners, offering specialized technical support and sales assistance to franchised Littelfuse distributors within the region. This role leverages comprehensive product expertise, exceptional communication abilities, and relationship‑building skills to boost sales, enhance partner relationships, and increase brand awareness for our products.
About Your Job- Build andmaintainstrong relationships within Distributors at all levels and across multiple functional areas
- Create, track, and follow up with LF and Distributor personnel on demand creation focus account distributor programs
- Support and grow the LF distribution sales channel within the region
- Primary interface for Branch Managers, Product Managers, and sales personnel/reps for key distributorsin order togainmaximummind share
- Establish and execute onmutual growthobjectiveswith distributors driven by effective training programs such as NPI (new product introduction),design reviews, and quarterly business reviews.
- Link sales and branch FAEs to maximize multi‑technology demand creation andsales, support and maintain LF’s Distributor Registration program
- Understanddistributorsrequirements and recommend suitable electronic components(circuit protection, switches, power semiconductors, sensors, relay, and circuit breakers).
- Collaborate withdistribution
Field Applicationengineering teams to ensure customer needs are met.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
- Communicate product features, benefits, and technical specifications effectively.
- Maintainaccuraterecords of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions.
- Prepare reports for managementonsales performance and market conditions.
- Quotation support and follow up.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in electronic components.
- Five to seven years of experience.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components, and applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel 50% to distribution branches within your region.
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Problem‑solving mindset and customer‑oriented approach.
- Presentation and Public Speaking to groups in branch setting.
- The ability tomaintaineffective working relationships with Sales teams, local Sales Reps, Channel Partners, Product Managers, Technical Marketing, Marcom and Corporate functions.
