Job DescriptionBaker|McGuire is one of the oldest and largest multi-line showrooms in the United States, featuring outstanding representations of transitional, formal, and contemporary furniture as well as decorative accessories. We are currently looking to add a Sales Representative to our team—mainly focusing on sales within the showroom with outreach engagement opportunities.
The Sales Associate has the primary responsibility to maximize sales volume by growing existing business, developing new business, and providing the best possible sales service while enhancing Baker Interiors Group’s mission to deliver the highest quality and service standards in the industry. The role requires industry knowledge, a passion for sales, experience, existing industry relationships, and networking abilities to build upon a business foundation already established by the showroom.
Responsibilities- Maximize sales volume by growing existing business and developing new business.
- Provide the best sales service to enhance Baker Interiors Group’s mission of quality and service excellence.
- Leverage industry knowledge, sales experience, existing industry relationships, and networking abilities to support showroom growth.
- Minimum of 5 years of high‑end sales/customer experience, preferably in the furniture or design industry.
- Basic knowledge of furniture design history (periods, styles, designers).
- Valid driver’s license.
Competitive base salary of US $25,000–$50,000 plus commission opportunities.
