We are currently hiring for a Regional Sales Manager for our Central Region to join our Ligman Lighting USA team and contribute to our mission of creating beautifully illuminated and sustainable environments.

This role can be remote but needs to be located close to a major airport. It would be a plus if located near Chicago metro area.

Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth within their assigned region. This includes managing rep agencies, developing and executing sales strategies, and supporting strategic marketing initiatives in region. The role focuses on expanding the company's presence in the urban deco markets while ensuring sales targets are met and customer satisfaction is prioritized.

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for lighting products, including urban decorative lighting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships withisummaa key clients, including agency principles and key agency personnel architects and engineers, serving as the primary point of contact for all lighting‑related inquiries.
  • Lead, coach, and manage agents hon providing product training and setting performance goals in alignment with lighting industry trends and customer needs.
  • Identify new business opportunities, focusing on expanding the company’s market share in urban lighting.

    Rick the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns and the introduction of new lighting technologies.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports, providing updates to senior management on lighting sales performance and market trends.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the lighting sector, including energy‑efficient and smart lighting solutions.
  • Plan and execute Agent changes as needed to ensure future growth of the business and strategic alignment with changing market dynamics.
  • Represent the company at lighting industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote the full range of lighting products andeton services.
  • Work closely with the customer service and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of lighting products and exceptional customer service for all lighting projects.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in sales within the lighting industry
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Experience with selling to municipalities, architects, engineering firms, contractors, etc.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with specific expertise in selling lighting products and solutions.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans specific to the products and industry demands.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data and lighting market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, particularly for large‑scale installations and urban lighting projects.
