Specifically, within our Account Management function we seek individuals who are able to increase account spend in a proactive, yet consultative manner. We are looking for talented, enthusiastic relationship builders who are comfortable working towards an individual portfolio growth target, whilst still contributing as a team player, within both the regional and global sales team.
The Account Executive will focus on key strategic client account growth and also new clients from proactive outreach.

Education & ExperienceGlobal Lingo does not require any specific educational background for this role. We do prefer all Account Executives to have 2 years sales experience in a similar role, preferably in the localization industry or a company target sector.
Success CriteriaThe Account Executive role will fundamentally be appraised on the growth in revenue created from the assigned account portfolio, and any new business brought to Global Lingo from legacy relationships. It will also include new business outreach to prospects that fit our "Ideal Client Profiles".
We’re seeking an individual who can strategically grow the revenue generated from assigned accounts through a mix of cross‑selling to new departments, upselling by offering a wider selection of our services and technology, and new business prospection, uncovering new divisions and geographies with requirements.
Role Responsibilities- Build a book of business and generate new revenue for Global Lingo from proactive outreach.
- Grow business from existing and assigned accounts.
- Work on dormant, Deal Desk accounts that have been approved by the sales director, to re‑engage old contacts.
- Respond to new opportunities, if profitable.
- Work with the VP of Growth (NAM) on account management strategies.
- Identify, within each allocated account, key contacts and increase frequency of communication between Global Lingo and the customer, working to maintain and improve the existing relationships with clients;
- Research global opportunities - working with the sales directors, and together with the sales team, leverage GL track record to develop local contracts into global contracts with multi‑national companies in different geographies.
- Book, prepare for, and attend meetings with clients, with a clear agenda and objectives of meeting planned.
- Record calls, meetings and correspondence for each customer in the CRM and keep contact details updated;
- Attend trade shows and conferences during which meetings with clients can be arranged, as well industry knowledge increased through attendance to seminars and workshops;
- Attend weekly internal sales meetings presenting progress and prior week’s activities/opportunities;
- Take ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution, working with the Quality Manager and relevant Project Manager as needed.
