- Identify and prospect potential retail CPG grocery clients using industry contacts, market research, and targeted outreach.
- Understand prospective clients’ business needs and pain points to position Symphony
AI Retail’s solutions. - Conduct thorough market and competitor research to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities, ensuring consistent progress through the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized sales strategies, presentations, and proposals.
- Engage stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives and IT leaders, through consultative sales engagements.
- Perform needs assessments, solution demonstrations, and articulate ROI and long-term value.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and progress reports to leadership.
- Stay updated on industry trends to adjust strategies, ensuring seamless transition to implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience in retail technology or the CPG industry, with a proven track record of exceeding $3M+ sales targets.
- In-depth knowledge of the retail CPG sector, including key trends and challenges.
- Strong understanding of AI-driven solutions and their applications within retail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented mindset for independent and team work.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
