The RoleA Series D, venture‑backed AI software company in the Construction Technology space is scaling rapidly and hiring 4 Enterprise BDRs to join its Chicago team.
As a founding BDR, you’ll work closely with senior sales leaders on strategic, high‑value deals and drive the pipeline for large enterprise construction accounts.
Responsibilities- Research and map large enterprise construction accounts across the US
- Own outbound prospecting: cold calls, email, Linked In
- Engage senior stakeholders and qualify complex buying groups
- Set high‑quality meetings that feed multi‑million‑dollar sales cycles
- Collaborate with AEs to refine messaging, ICP, and GTM strategy
This is a consultative, enterprise sales role — not a volume‑led SDR position.
Qualifications- 1+ year experience as an SDR/BDR in SaaS
- Confident, articulate, and commercially curious
- Comfortable opening doors and holding senior conversations
- Coachable, driven, and ambitious
- Based in Chicago (non‑negotiable)
- Enterprise or construction exposure is a bonus, not essential
- Up to $65k base salary depending on experience
- Uncapped commission
- Clear progression into Enterprise AE or senior GTM roles
- Series D scale‑up with strong funding and rapid momentum
