Director, Franchise Sales & Development at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts

The Role
  • Prospect and qualify franchise opportunities in WI, MN, ND, SD, NE, KS for La Quinta, ECHO, Hawthorn, Microtel.
  • Negotiate deal terms and Property Improvement Plans.
  • Execute hotel franchise agreements.
  • Manage relationships and attend industry events.
  • Submit forecasts and general reporting.
What You’ll Do
  • Prospect and qualify deals.
  • Network and attend industry events.
  • Negotiate terms and execute contracts.
  • Manage relationships.
  • Forecast and report.
  • Assist other team members on special projects.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry trends across US and Canada.
You’ll Be Successful If You Have
  • Extensive sales experience.
  • Proven achievement in sales by exceeding quotas.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Capability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Aptitude for evaluating pro‑forma and feasibility studies for new construction projects.
  • New construction development knowledge.
  • Desire to travel.
Required Qualifications / Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years experience in business/relationship development.
  • Demonstrated proven achievement in sales by exceeding quota.
  • Required to travel approximately 80% of the time, primarily in the U.S.

Job Location & Benefits

Remote (U.S.) | Full‑time. Compensation: $75,000–$95,000 annually (U.S. only), with incentive potential. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life/AD&D, disability, 401(k) with match, paid vacation (2.692 hrs/week), paid holidays, sick leave, volunteer days, jury duty time, and more.
