Job description

We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Professional in Merrionette Park, IL to provide caring assistance to families in need and provide thoughtful guidance to those in advance of need.

Compensation is commission-based. Must be willing to work on Saturday in exchange for a day off during the week.

Responsibilities:

• Make sales presentations and sell funeral services and products
• Prospect and obtain referrals
• Answer customers questions about products, prices and availability
• Contact new or existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs
• Complete paperwork neatly and accurately, including all interment verification procedures
• Answer telephone inquiries about cemetery products and services for both pre-need planning and at need preparations
• Make appointments for families to come to the cemetery for arrangements

Qualifications:

• Sales experience helpful but not mandatory
• Must be comfortable walking the grounds with families
• Desire to help others and earn a competitive income
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Creative, outgoing and energetic
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Passionate approach to customer service
• Strong attention to detail

The pay range for this role is:

60,000 - 80,000 USD per year (Merrionette Park)
