Director of Sales, North America
The Peninsula Hotels is synonymous with timeless luxury, owning and operating 12 magnificent properties in key gateway cities across the US, Europe and Asia. As we continue to expand our reach and influence, we are recruiting a newly created Director of Sales, North America to shape relationships, drive brand presence, commercial success and growth.
Responsibilities- Design, own and execute a high-impact sales strategy for the North America market, targeting Corporate, Consortia, Wholesale, Partnerships and MICE segments for all Peninsula Hotels and The Quail golf resort.
- Spearhead roadshows, client events, trade shows, key trade, partner events and strategic sales calls to maximize brand presence and revenue growth.
- Strengthen relationships with key accounts and industry partnerships to expand market share, including FIT and Government & Diplomatic segments.
- Drive a unified North America sales strategy in unison with Corporate Office and property based leadership team, ensuring seamless conversion of leads into revenue across all properties.
- Monitor market trends, optimize strategies, and provide insightful reporting on performance and opportunities.
- Degree holder in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Proven track record of exceeding targets in a regional or global sales capacity, with a strong focus on the North American market.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to turn insights into action.
- Exceptional communicator – fluent in English with polished presentation skills.
- Collaborative, interpersonal, self‑motivated, and driven by results.
- Detail‑oriented and highly organized with ability to engage stakeholders at a North American and global level.
Based in Chicago, the base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $160,000 per year plus rewarding sales incentive and benefits. There may be consideration to be based in New York City.
