Job DescriptionFor further growth and success, our client is looking for a Regional Sales Manager – Midwest. You will have the opportunity to work in an international environment, selling state‑of‑the‑art vision inspection systems “Made in Germany” to the plastic packaging industry throughout the assigned territory (North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Northern Kentucky Counties, West Virginia).
This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic and assertive salesperson with a good technical understanding and a proven track record selling capital equipment to the Plastics industry. The position will report to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Acquiring new customers and maintaining the existing client base
- Identifying customer potential, investment projects, and trends
- Creating, managing, and tracking proposals/quotes
- Participating in customer‑related events, such as trade shows
- Tracking activities and maintaining the ERP system
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or Engineering field, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience selling capital equipment (ideally vision inspection systems)
- An established network in the plastic packaging industry
- Solid computer skills are a must
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally as necessary
