Mirk Group, Inc. is an independent manufacturers' representative. We represent commercial equipment and smallwares in the Illinois market, MAFSI #17.
We are in search of a dynamic Sales Development Representative who is natural at building relationships. You will work within, but not limited to, the non-commercial, food service markets that include Kindergarten – 12 th grade, College and University and Healthcare spaces.
This position is inclusive of all sub-entities within these sectors.
The position will provide solutions, specify, sell and maintain relationships with all decision makers and users of Mirk Group represented manufacturers.
We are a small company with growth opportunities!
Experience preferred, but not required. Willing to train the right person.
This position will cover these sectors and all regions of Illinois north of Interstate 72.
JOB DUTIES
Develop, build, and manage a client base
Oversee the sales process at each stage from quote to purchasing to fulfillment and follow up
Target new and existing accounts
Build relationships with existing users
Prospect new clients
Enter sales activities into company CRM system(s)
Participate in/conduct trade shows, conferences, and training events as needed
Investigate and troubleshoot customer related challenges.
