Pay Range: $16.20 - $24.28 per hour

Summary

The Stock Clerk is an operations position with customer service responsibility for the retail pharmacy. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Required Job Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Flexibility with work schedule.
Dependable in attendance and job performance.
Team player with a positive attitude and work ethic.
Telephone, computer systems, copiers, fax machines, calculator and other office equipment as necessary.
Normal office and warehouse environments.

Physical Demands

Able to lift 30 lbs.
May be exposed to certain hazardous materials, including but not limited to blood-borne pathogens, chemotherapeutic agents, cleaning and sanitizing agents.

Responsibilities

Places general merchandise orders for OTC retail store.

Checks Rx merchandise, puts stickers on the drug and stock on the shelves.

Stocks refrigerated coolers as needed.

Checks, accepts, and organizes daily/weekly/monthly vendor deliveries and prepares over-the-counter products for stocking.

Responsible for Midwest Orthopedics patient prescription program which includes verification of patient insurance, collection of co-payments, etc.

Assists the Supervisor in checking expiration dates and processes returns for expired products and overstocks.

Monitors inventory to maintain adequate and appropriate stock levels.

Maintains and manages master list of files in storage.

Maintains work area in an organized and orderly fashion.

Maintains a well-stocked and clutter-free customer service area.

Performs general deliveries to all HDM locations.

Picks-up and delivers U.S. Mail daily.

Prepares and processes UPS, Federal Express and courier overnight deliveries.

Delivers patient medications in a timely and professional manner.

Works as a cashier when needed.

Performs within the framework of RUMC/HDM, L.L.C. policies and procedures.
