Responsibilities
- Must be able to fulfill all functions and duties of the retail department
- Assign duties to retail staff
- Review daily time sheets
- Conduct pre and post shift meetings
- Conduct in-service training sessions and weekly safety topic trainings
- Provide coaching to team members
- Issue disciplinary action according to park policies and procedures as needed
- Ensure retail locations are clean, organized, and stocked with merchandise/product
- Communicate low stock merchandise/products for reordering
- Conduct inventory counts as needed.
- Supervise guest experience to ensure excellent customer service is provided, respond to guest concerns
- Ensure all park policies and procedures are being followed by team members
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and team members
- Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
- Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark
- Follow park policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience in department or equivalent supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Demonstrate ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership
- Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
- Energy and enthusiasm for long days
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
- Must be able to work days, evenings, weekend and holidays to meet business needs
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to 50 pounds, team lift for heavier objects
