Position: Overnight Grocery Team Member (Stocker, Inventory, Receiving) - Part Time

Overnight Grocery Team Member (Stocker, Inventory, Receiving) - Part Time

Provides overnight support to the assigned team, including receiving and preparing product, and maintaining the floor, displays, and back stock in accordance with Whole Foods Market (WFM) standards. All WFM retail jobs require a positive company image, courteous and efficient service to customers and teammates, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, health and safety regulations, food safety obligations, and departmental duties.

Base pay range
$17.00/hr – $25.40/hr

Job Responsibilities
  • Check product to ensure it meets WFM quality standards.
  • Accurately sort and scan waste.
  • Maintain production standards.
  • Stock and clean shelves, bins, and food preparation areas.
  • Maintain back stock in good order.
  • Handle DC and UNFI invoices for product delivered outside store receiving hours.
  • Properly check‑in product and report miss‑picks to team leadership.
  • Receive product from the receiving location to the sales floor or appropriate back‑stock spaces.
  • Aid in receiving and sorting ArdON deliveries for other teams.
  • Arrive at the workstation on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings.
  • Provide excellent customer service, address customers’ needs in a timely and effective manner, model suggestive‑selling techniques, and answer phones and pages promptly and courteously.
  • Maximize sales potential through effective procedures for preparing, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
  • Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintain equipment in accordance with WFM cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Perform opening, mid‑and closing duties as assigned; ensure the accuracy of signs and pricing.
  • Immediately report safety hazards and violations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
