The opportunity

Delaware North Sport service is hiring part-time Vendors to join our team at Rate Field in Chicago, Illinois. As a Vendor, you will be selling food and beverage products to guests in the seating area throughout the venue.

$16.60 – $16.60 / hour

• Sell food and beverage items to guests throughout the sports venue, serving alcoholic beverages responsibly, verifying identification and following unit and company alcohol policies
• Monitor stock of food and beverage items
• Process payment and return required change to guests
• Effectively communicate with guests, team members and supervisor

• Must be 16 years’ of age
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling
• Superb guest service, communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must possess high level of self confidence with ability to aggressively sell assigned items
• Must be self-motivated

• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to raise and project voice to market and sell product
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, go up and down stairs for length of shift
• Ability to withstand a variety of weather conditions depending on the season
