Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Pay range: $16.60 to $19.20 per hour

We offer a commission structure that pays you for every transaction processed. Retail associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.64 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, part-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The role greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

The associate thrives on engaging with customers and assists with inquiries and problem resolution. The associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The Part-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate earns an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. The actual pay will be based on factors such as work location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers and contributes to a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training and performs other related duties as needed.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, bending, walking, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist customers outdoors or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and perform basic math.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work at multiple locations as needed.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on personal performance. More details provided during the interview process.
