The Part‑Time Research Assistant will report to the Director of the Center for Community Research and will help the Director with tasks as needed on the post‑viral grant‑supported project.
What You’ll Do- Complete Center administrative tasks designated by the director.
- Receive training with the Research Project Coordinator on grants administration.
- Schedule appointments and interviews.
- Administer and conduct interviews with participants.
- Enter data.
- Assist in the writing of manuscripts.
- Participate in weekly research meetings.
- College degree (B.A. or B.S.) required; research experience in Psychology or a related social science field.
- Interest in gaining experience to pursue a higher level of education.
- Some budgetary experience would be helpful.
- Reliable, task‑oriented, and self‑motivated.
- General computer knowledge and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel) and SPSS.
- Capability to coordinate daily tasks, communicate effectively, and work as directed.
- Strong writing skills.

This is a grant‑funded position and is subject to the availability of grant funding.
The anticipated hiring range for this position is $16.69 per hour. The salary range provided reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned depends on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
