Salary: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.

• Design and conduct experiments focused on understanding the role of immune cells in normal and diabetic wound healing, involving mouse models of wound healing, single‑cell RNA sequencing, flow cytometry and histological analysis to elucidate novel immune pathways that contribute to normal and impaired healing. These experiments should lead to dissemination via publication in peer‑reviewed scientific journals and presentations at national and international scientific conferences.
  
  Generate ideas, prepare and submit new grant applications. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

PhD in Kinesiology or Nutrition or related field. Minimum of 5 years Post‑doctoral or related experience. Extensive experience with mouse models of wound healing, flow cytometry, cell sorting, histological analysis and single‑cell RNAseq, including downstream analyses. Supervisory experience also required.
