Position SummaryThe Scanzera Lab seeks a Graduate Hourly employee to support a funded National Eye Institute (NEI) research project. This role will involve collaborative research activities in support of ongoing project aims. There is potential for continued employment through Summer 2026 to assist with a community needs assessment, including conducting subject‑matter expert interviews and performing qualitative data analysis.
Duties & Responsibilities- Medical chart review and data entry into REDCap.
- Monitor REDCap for data completion.
- Maintains and processes required paperwork.
- May conduct literature searches.
- Participates in meetings and work groups related to the project.
- Participates in IRB human subjects training (CITI Training), maintains appropriate professional competencies, and assures staff compliance with human subjects training requirements.
- Conduct research study activities and tasks as needed.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree and current enrollment in a UIC Graduate Program
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
