In the role as Real Estate Development Financial Analyst you will help our team bring the next round of stories to life on the United Center campus.
Ready to take center stage?As the Real Estate Development Financial Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting a wide range of projects through clear, thoughtful financial analysis. You’ll help build and update models, assist with project evaluations, and turn complex data into insights that guide decisions. Specific Duties- Assist in the development and evaluation of retail, residential, office, hotel, parking, and entertainment venue models for both new construction and existing assets
- Create and maintain mixed‑use proforma statements and projections, which accurately reflect current development costs and projected revenues and expenses
- Perform market research to determine/verify a project’s economics and verify assumptions in models
- Update models with actual data to evaluate the current status of various investments
- Develop and analyze existing investment models with the ability to create new models from scratch
- Assist with physical due diligence for broker partnerships, tenant applications, and other contracts
- Support team in entitlement, capitalization, underwriting, and asset management
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations with the goal of making complex financial analysis easily digestible
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis from breakeven scenarios to trending vs target budget comparisons
- Assist in other projects related to the arena and campus as necessary
- 3+ years in commercial real estate finance
- Experience with complex financial models for underwriting commercial real estate properties
- Advanced experience with Excel modeling
- Experience with ARGUS Enterprise
- Analyst experience for a real estate development company
- Experience with presenting data to key stakeholders
The pay range for this role is $90, annually. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package may also include annual performance bonus, 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid time off and commuter benefits.
