Leasing Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Leasing Coordinator to provide administrative support to the leasing operations of River City apartments, a 448-unit portfolio in the heart of the South Loop neighborhood.

• Provides timely and professional responses to resident and vendor issues and inquiries.
• Routes incoming phone calls and mail and answers correspondence as needed.
• Assists in move-in / move-out process.
• Supports and participates in leasing activities, including but not limited to touring prospective residents, processing applications, and preparing leases while following all regulatory guidelines.
• Prepares, maintains, and manages new and existing lease files.
• Assists with the lease renewal process.
• Monitors the CRM system and consistently follows-up on prospective leads and existing resident inquiries.
• Provides excellent customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, visitors, and other customers.
• Assists with coordinating resident events and sending out communication.
• Receives resident service requests and administers building work order system.

Qualified candidates will be self-starters with at least one year of related experience. Previous apartment leasing experience preferred. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and administrative acumen. Candidates must have or obtain current Illinois leasing agent license. Regular weekend hours will be required.

The hourly rate for this position is based on level of experience and ranges between an annual amount of $40, + commission eligibility.
