We are looking for a dedicated and upbeat ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER to join our growing team in the Bay Area.
Redwood Seniors of Willow Glen
, a 140-unit Senior apartment complex, is located in the historic and upscale district of Willow Glen, “San Jose’s Local Treasure.” This is a rare opportunity to work in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the area.
- Utilize and maintain all data in One Site property management system.
- Efficiently process and file forms and documents as necessary, maintaining confidentiality of personnel and residents.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, amenities, rates, sizes, and locations of property and all community policies.
- Present property and provide amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants
- Advertise available units using a variety of media and promoting materials
- Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening processes and policies regarding rentals.
- Conduct all initial certifications, annual re-certifications, and interim certifications. Audit all move-in files and assist with move-in certifications and qualifications as required by HUD.
- EIV reporting and investigations.
- Prepare and execute all required notices, interviews, verifications of household information, and completion of the Tenant Income Certifications.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in leasing apartment communities
- Knowledge of HUD, Section 8, and/or LIHTC
- Accomplished interpersonal skills; capable of dealing effectively with employees, residents, vendors and co-workers; along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and customer service skills
