Job DescriptionAs a member of this team you will contribute to CDM Smith's success by:
- Applying knowledge of the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 (Uniform Act).
- Reviewing real estate appraisals and property legal descriptions for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinating and managing subconsultants involved in land acquisition activities.
- Preparing complete offer letter packages for property acquisition.
- Supporting overall right-of-way services, including familiarity with the eminent domain process.
- Conducting contextual review and ensure proper recording of legal documents.
- Providing extensive outreach to impacted property owners, tenants, and businesses.
- Maintaining strong communication and relationship-building skills during property negotiations.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 10 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
- Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Strong knowledge of real estate practices, ROW database software, accounting principles, calculation of relocation benefits under the URA. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to understand highly complex acquisitions (easements and full property acquisition).

Pay Range Maximum$191,048
