Shift: 2nd shift C

Description: Location: ASM Columbus Shift: 2nd Shift M-F 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm Payrate: $17.25/hr

Job Duties /Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Document and report quality control findings, including deviations and non-conformities, to appropriate personnel.
  • Perform regular calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment and tools.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to established protocols and specifications.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality issues promptly.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
  • Support audits and inspections conducted by internal teams or external regulatory bodies.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and food safety standards, such as HACCP or GMP.
  • Basic understanding of laboratory testing techniques and the ability to operate quality control equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies or defects.
  • Effective communication skills to report findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks such as standing for extended periods and lifting light to moderate weights as needed.
