We are seeking a Managing Rehabilitation Veterinarian to provide high-quality care and leadership to Integrative Pet Care in Chicago, IL, which includes 2 associate veterinarians and a therapy team of 10. Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care & Clinical Excellence
    • Provide comprehensive rehabilitation care that improves mobility, reduces pain, and enhances quality of life.
    • Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans, incorporating appropriate modalities (e.g., underwater treadmill, laser therapy, acupuncture, therapeutic exercise).
    • Provide clinical leadership and mentoring to all medical staff including Associate DVMs, Therapists, Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants.
    • Advise on policies and procedures for “best practice” clinical operations and efficient use of staff. Make recommendations for improving effectiveness of clinical policies and procedures.
    • Assist Practice Manager with the planning, development, implementation, operation, maintenance, and control of medical services.
    • Ensure medicine is delivered and patient/client records are completed in compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory agency requirements.
    • Institute/share new medical procedures and techniques that improve quality and efficiency.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Promote a client-centered environment and facilitate programs that meet or exceed client needs.
    • Build strong client relationships by effectively communicating diagnosis, treatment plans, and prevention strategies.
