Arborist Safety Coordinator
Join Bartlett Tree Experts as an Arborist Safety Coordinator and help enhance safety and training across our office. This role is crucial for developing and managing our safety program and serving as the primary trainer.

- Partner with local manager and arborist representatives to develop and manage the office safety program.
- Provide safe on‑site training, mentoring, and supervision of crew members at all skill levels.
- Ensure crew members are trained for each job assignment.
- Conduct periodic crew, facility, and pesticide storage audits.
- Ensure new employee orientations are conducted effectively.
- Schedule and conduct daily Tailgate Safety Meetings.
- Ensure all tree‑care work follows industry and company standards.
- Perform ground, tree‑climbing, and aerial lift duties as needed.
- Safely perform all aspects of arboriculture, including tree identification, risk assessments, pruning, removals, cabling, bracing, root‑collar excavations, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Learn, understand, and adhere to all safety rules and company safety policies.
- At least five (5) years of experience in the tree‑care industry.
- Valid driver’s license (Class B CDL preferred).
- Ability to work outdoors year‑round in all weather conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct group and individual training or prior crew‑leader experience.
- Proven initiative, positive attitude, team‑oriented, and self‑motivated.
- ISA Certified Arborist certification is preferred but not required.
