OR RN in Chicago, IL

A registered nurse with expertise in operating room procedures is sought for a 12-week contract assignment in Glenview, IL, approximately 28 miles from Chicago.

This role offers a full-time schedule working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week, with weekend on-call rotations required. Candidates must reside within 30 minutes of the hospital for on-call availability.

Key qualifications include:

• Active Illinois RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing contract completed
• Proficiency in circulating ophthalmology and scrubbing preferred
• Experience with DaVinci surgical robotic systems and general surgery
• Current BLS certification
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system

Responsibilities encompass providing expert perioperative nursing care within a collaborative, high-performing team environment. The role requires flexibility and readiness for on-call duties, supporting a range of surgical procedures including ophthalmology and robotic-assisted surgeries.
