Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide patient/resident care as required under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse.

TheCNA atEast Troy Manorcompletes assigned tasks to ensuretimely,efficientandsafe patient/resident care. Communication and interactions with patients, residents,families and other health teammembersis an essentialcomponentof this position.

Compensation:

CNAbase hourly wage:$19.00 – $22.28per hourdependenton experience

PLUSshift differentials- $2.00 per hour PMshiftand $2.50 per hour NOC shift

Key Responsibilities:

Performs initial and ongoing data collection on all patients/residents under the direction of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.

Implements plan of care developed by the Registered Nurse based on patient/resident physical, psychosocial, cultural,ethnicand religious/spiritual needs.

Provides direct patient/resident care andreportscondition and changes to RN or LPN.

Demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks.

Document results of patient/resident care within established policies,procedure sand scope of practice.

Effective communication with residents and family

Completes all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

Must be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity

Ability to meet physical and job-related requirements

Must be English literate andpossessexcellent writtenandverbal communication skills

Preferred:

Previoushospital or long-termcare or skilled nursing experience

CPR Certified
