The Stepdown Registered Nurse provides intermediate-level care to patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing interventions. Responsible for managing cardiac, telemetry, and post-acute patients transitioning from intensive care.

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data.
• Manage patients requiring ventilators, IV drips, and surgical drains.
• Provide care for cardiology and VAD patients.
• Administer medications and titrate IV drips per physician orders.
• Perform ongoing assessments and respond to acute clinical changes.
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record system.

• Minimum 2 years of Stepdown, Telemetry, and Med/Surg experience (required).
• Minimum 2 Years Of RN Experience.
• Experience with ventilators, IV drips, and drains is required (non-negotiable).
• Cardiology, Telemetry, And VAD Experience Required.
• EPIC experience highly preferred.
• Patient ratio ranges between 1:4 1:5.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

• AHA BLS.
• AHA ACLS.

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
