Honor Vet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Chicago, Illinois.

  Night Shift | 4x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – PICU / Pediatric Stepdown
• Location: Chicago, IL
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to PICU-level pediatric stepdown patients
• Manage ventilators, tracheostomies, and G-tubes
• Perform comprehensive assessments and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Respiratory Therapy, PT, Pharmacy, and Social Services
• Accurately document care using Meditech
• Float within scope as required

• Minimum 2 years RN experience (required)
• PICU or Pediatric Stepdown experience (preferred)
• Travel experience required (no first‑time travelers)
• Patient ratio experience: 1:4 (required)
• Licensure: Active Illinois RN License required at submission (Compact RN licenses not accepted in Illinois)
• Certifications: BLSPALS
• Required Skills: Care of ventilated pediatric patients;
  Tracheostomy care;
  Gastrostomy tube management;
  Management of chronic ventilators;
  Meditech charting experience (required)

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
