Description:
The Registered Nurse will work in the Operating Room.
This position requires a day shift of five 8-hour days.
No block scheduling is available.
Call requirements include one 12-hour shift per month on a Saturday or Sunday.
The shift for call may be from 7 AM to 7 PM or from 7 PM to 7 AM.
There is no weekday call.
Weekend work is required every other weekend, totaling 2 weekends per month.
Requests for time off are limited to a maximum of 5 days, with no more than 2 consecutive days.
No time off is permitted on holidays or the day before or after a holiday.
The clinician may be required to float within their scope to meet facility needs.
All resources must float as needed, up to 50 miles from their home facility.
If a clinician refuses to float, they may be subject to cancellation.
The RN must have excellent scrub and circulating experience.
Preferred experience includes Neurosurgery, Open Heart/Thoracic, Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatric, and Gynecology.
Proof of vaccinations is required prior to the start date.
Boosters are not mandatory.
