Staff Nurse – Inpatient Behavioral Health- Completes an initial treatment plan including basic and special needs
- Treats and cares for patients demonstrating understanding of cognitive, emotional and chronological status
- Anticipates and provides for discharge needs
- Charts patient's progress in conjunction with the specific treatment plan
- Utilizes available resources including family, referral source, prior treatment sources, and current multidisciplinary treatment team
- Demonstrates accountability and responsibility for the therapeutic milieu
- Validates the appropriateness of written orders
- Implements physician and nursing orders as appropriate involving patient, family and significant others
- Competent group facilitation and 1:1 interactions

- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- The Registered Nurse will have current RN Licensure in the State of Illinois
- Current CPR – BLS certification
- 1 year of nursing experience within area of inpatient psychiatry – preferred
- Successful completion of Hospital and Unit orientation programs
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- 1 year of nursing experience within area of inpatient psychiatry – preferred
- Successful completion of Hospital and Unit orientation programs
