- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and programs
- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects
- Mentor and coach staff members to achieve professional growth and development
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field preferred - Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
