Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health. Nurses with experience in behavioral health, counseling, intake, medication side effects, PTSD, psychosomatic medication interactions, suicide and self-harm risk assessment, or therapeutic nurse/patient relationships are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for efficacy and potential side effects.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families using evidence-based therapeutic communication techniques.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops on topics related to mental health and well-being.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care, including discharge planning and aftercare support.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from an accredited program
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting, preferably in inpatient or outpatient environments
• Strong understanding of psychotropic medications, their side effects, and proper administration protocols
• Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as outlined by the American Nurses Association (ANA)

Shift(s) available: day, night, and mid shifts. Job types available: full time, part time, and per diem. Salary: $61,300 to $100,980 per year.
