Infection Prevention Coordinator Requirements:

• Valid LPN/RN Nursing License (required by the state)

• Ability to promote and facilitate teamwork

• Demonstrate high ethical standards and professional integrity

• In-depth knowledge of nursing procedures, medical regulations, and infection control policies

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills

• Ability to make independent decisions in critical situations

As a Skilled, Compassionate Infection Prevention Coordinator, You Will:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate annual infection prevention goals and action plans

• Collaborate with facility leaders, physicians, and local, state, and national agencies to ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols

• Oversee operations related to infection prevention, epidemiology, industrial hygiene, and safety programs

• Participate in national collaboratives and external reporting to CDC NHSN and other post-acute care quality organizations

• Provide ongoing infection control education and intervention to staff, volunteers, and medical personnel

• Monitor healthcare infection trends, investigate outbreaks, and ensure compliance with infection prevention policies
