PACU RN

Position: PACU RN | $2,220/wk
Shift: Days

Hours: 40

This hospital in Chicago is seeking an experienced PACU RN to care for patients immediately following anesthesia and surgical procedures. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring vital signs, level of consciousness, and ensuring patients safely recover from sedation without complications. This role requires strong clinical assessment skills, the ability to respond quickly to changes in condition, and experience supporting Pre-Op and PAT as needed.

Candidates must be able to manage a high-census environment and adapt to a fast-paced hospital setting.

Requirements:

• Current RN license (Illinois)
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU hospital experience (5+ years strongly preferred)
• Strong ICU and Pre-Op experience
• Experience caring for post-anesthesia patients
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Willingness to float to similar duties (Pre-Op, PAT)
